Description
EN
A little known open space, slightly wooded area overlooking Torbay not far from the Harbour.
Suggested parking in Parkhill Road or Daddyhole Road. A short walk along the (somewhat muddy at the time of hiding) footpath into St. John's Wood. If one climbs to the highest point in the area, there's a good view of Torbay - and if you peer through the hedge and look north, there's a view up along the Babbacombe Road (possibly not the most spectacular or photogenic view going).
The cache is down the hill a few yards from the summit and is a 330ml click-n-lock style container in a camo bag.

Another place where a lot of work has gone on. All the ivy has been cut away from the tree and cleared . We thought this one was gone, but a look around the base and there it was covered with leaf litter. Kind workmen?

After leaving the St Michael's Chapel cache, I called Lord Darcy, and we arranged to meet here. As I arrived, Paul was trying to find his own cache, and making heavy weather of it
. In the end I was rather pleased with his assistance - by myself I might have struggled a bit with this one
.
Thanks for the cache, and for the top class cache finding service
.
Rgds, Andy
03 May 2010 Spannerman Found it
This was the second of the day and another we had visited in previous guises and it took two attempts to find the right pathway in. It looks to be a very select park but what a great view from the top. Found the cache without any bother and sat on the seat for a few minutes to cool down while we signed the log.
